Elina Ioannou
Biography
Elina Ioannou graduated from Montpellier School of Fine Art and has been living and working in Cyprus since 2005. She took part in the 13th Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean in Apulia. Ioannou has also participated in group exhibitions in Cyprus, as well as abroad. In 2008 she took part in the group show titled "Where Do We Go From Here?" at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (NiMAC). Later that year, when the Project Room was introduced at NiMAC, she presented her first solo show, based on a collaboration between her and writer Natalie Yiaxi.
