The European Union offers numerous opportunities for work experience, funding and career prospects to students, says Varnavas Mytilineos.

Varnavas first started as an Erasmus+ intern while still studying for his first degree and today is employed as a coordinator for the programme in a private university in Cyprus.

He says that what he values the most in Erasmus+ is that it creates opportunities for young people to participate in decision-making processes and to make their own voices heard.

Cyprus can benefit immensely from Europe, especially when it comes to matters of economy and security, Varnavas says and urges all Cypriots to participate in the upcoming European elections to choose the candidates than can best represent the continent’s youth.
