The Environment Service and the LIFE Cyclamen programme are organising an Open Day Fair on European funding and investment opportunities at entrance 2 of the Mall of Cyprus in Nicosia from 4 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, June 2.
The LIFE Cyclamen project aims to ensure the more effective participation of Cyprus in the EU’s LIFE programme that focuses on the environment and climate change.
It aims contribute to the implementation, modernization and development of the EU’s environmental and climate change policies and legislation through the co-financing of projects that have an added value for Europe.
The Open Day Fair is addressed to private and public bodies, local authorities, NGOs and academic institutions which are interested in financing tools for environment and climate change programmes.
Visitors can be briefed on Cyprus LIFE programmes which support protection of the environment and of our health, talk to the national contact point to find out if their idea can be financed by the LIFE programme and find out about the DG on European programmes on financing from EU and national sources. They can also find out about the financing programme on research and innovation, Horizon 20202 and consult with the Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus (EEN Cyprus).
There will also be raffle with a €150 coupon from Zenith Travel.
