Christina got her first Erasmus experience when she was in secondary school. She kept being interested in the programme, and while she was studying in the Architecture Department of the University of Cyprus she seized the opportunity once again, to travel and study abroad, to meet people, make friends and acquire new professional skills. She also had the chance to be a youth MEP for a day.

“Travelling gives you experiences that no university can teach you,” Christina says and adds that she feels lucky that Erasmus broadened her horizons and gave her the chance to make close friends in other EU countries.

Voting, she adds, is important because young people have the responsibility to elect those politicians that will create opportunities for them.
