The election service is urging non-registered voters to register by April 2 so that they can vote in the May 26 European Parliament elections. And it added that polling stations will also operate in Greece, the UK and Belgium. 
All Cypriot citizens aged 18 and over who are resident in Cyprus as well as EU citizens living here and wishing to vote for Cypriot MEPs are eligible to vote. The election service also clarified that young people who will turn 18 years of age by May 26 can register, but must submit their application by the April 2 deadline.  
Application forms are available at district offices and Citizens Services Centres, the central election service and the webpage of the Interior Ministry.  (www.moi.gov.cy).              
                                          
Polling stations abroad will operate only in Greece, the UK and Belgium for voters already registered or who will register by April 2. To be able to vote abroad, they must submit an application so that their data can be transferred to the special election roll.  Applications must be submitted by April 2. The relevant forms can be obtained from and submitted to embassies and consulates in the three countries, as well as at district offices, Citizens Services Centres, the central election service and the webpage of the Interior Ministry.  (www.moi.gov.cy).
