The programme “Women Fit for Business” has been established and in 2019 it ook place for a third consecutive year, said Myria Avraamidou, member of AIPFE Cyprus – Women of Europe.
Through AIPFE (Association Internationale pour la Promotion des Femmes d’Europe), 16 unemployed women graduates under 35 years old receive training in the EU in order to be able to adapt to the needs of the labour market.
The programme brings women closer to Europe and provides them with the skills and knowledge in order to enter the labour market, in the sectors that interest them. The aim of the programme is for women to gain firsthand experience of the benefits they can gain from Europe, Avraamidou says.
EU Grant is funded by the European Parliament.
