In 2013 Elpida, like many other people of her age lost her job, in the normally stable banking sector.

This did not damage her plans or her love for maths, as she applied to the EU for a female entrepreneurship fund and created her own institute “MindMath,” which later developed to a robotics and maths centre.

Six years later, Elpida has established herself in the education sector, preparing students for their final exams.

In her interview she describes her steps to success and explains how women can become independent professionals through the EU.

EU Grant is funded by the EU Parliament.
