European Parliament president Antonio Tajani has combined his wishes for 2019 with an appeal to EU citizens to vote in the May European elections.
In a video taped New Year message, Tajani assured that the European Parliament was actively engaged in coming closer to citizens.
Europe needs to change, not to be destroyed he said, as he stressed the need for wide participation in the elections. “By voting, your voice in Europe will be stronger. By making Europe stronger, we can continue to champion what you believe in,” he said.
