Gender equality does not exist in key EU positions says Greek New Democracy MEP Maria Spyraki in an interview to philenews.
She adds that women are paid less than men for doing the same jobs and that the struggle for gender equality and pay equity must be constant.
“Member states must pay more attention to women,” says Spyraki who is running again for the EU Parliament. “Europe provides solidarity and the participation by voters in elections in necessary in order for us to continue to live in conditions of security, peace and development”.
