The 6th Cyprus Pride March in occupied north Cyprus will take place on May 18, according to Erman Dolmaci, coordinator of Queer Cyprus Association’s, Diversity of Colours Project.
The march will start at 17:00 in front of the Suitex building and will end in Lefkeliler Hanı. It is organised by the May 17 Organising Committee.
 
The Pride period will start on May 4 with a fundraiser at Famagusta old arch and will end with the Pride after-party on May 18.
 
In the run-up for Pride, Queer Cyprus will organise a film festival with the cooperation of Pink Life KuirFest, on April 10 at the European Mediterranean Art Association (EMAA).
 
On April 17, the event “OryantaLAsyon / OrientaLAtion” will take place at Queer Cyprus’ offices in Nicosia.
The events organised by Queer Cyprus are part of the EU-funded Diversity of Colours Project, aiming to improve access of LGBTI+’s to human rights and to prevent discrimination in the northern part of Cyprus.
