On May 10, Europe Direct Nicosia will host a series of activities in the Ledra Palace buffer zone to celebrate Europe Day.
The events will start at 7 pm and will conclude at 11 pm.
The day will open with a jazz concert by Nihan Görgü and a language café in cooperation with YEU Cyprus and the Association for Bilingualism in Cyprus.
Different languages will be spoken in different tables, including: Romanian, Spanish, Italian, Czech, French, Macedonian, Greek and Turkish.
At 9 om, DJ Claudio will take the stage.
The European Parliament, EURES, Civic Space and InfoPoint, among others will set up information desk, where people will have the chance to learn more about the EU and the opportunities it offers.
Drinks will be on the house.
Kids’ Corner
A kid’s corner in cooperation with EU Infopoint will be on site to entertain the kids while they also have the opportunity to learn more about Europe and the values it stands for.
